Arpeggios from the A string

Discussion in 'Jazz Technique [DB]' started by Kitschead, Nov 2, 2010.

  1. Hi guys. I've recently been practicing the Rufus Reid fingering configuration for arpeggios from his book 'Evolving Upward'. It's great because it's easily transferable to anywhere on the neck providing you start on the E string.
I'm wondering if there's also a one-size-fits-all, skeleton key fingering for arpeggios starting on the A string. I've got an audition coming up so I'm after some good, foolproof ways to get through whatever arpeggios they may throw at me ;)
    Any help is appreciated!

Rabbath Fingerings are the Key but you gotta Practice them like a spider monkey.
