  1. Mike, I've just visited the lessons online site, and two of your arrangements (Misty, Autumn Leaves) are for tunes I played as a teenager. I found learning to play and improvise basslines to to these melodic and more complex chord changes really helped my creativity when playing blues, rock and R&B.

I really like your bass arrangements for these, and I'm wondering if you have done any for other standards, i.e.:

    Moonlight in Vermont (Blackburn/Suessdorf )
    Corcovado (Jobim)
    Desafinado (Jobim)
    Night and Day (Porter)

(or any others in that vein?)

Thanks for your interest. I have many arrangements for both solo and looped bass. Hopefully, I will be able to put them in an upcoming book (licensing and all that stuff, TBD).

Here's an idea of the some of the solo bass stuff (no looper) that I have arranged

    Watch What Happens
    How High The Moon
Shadow of Your Smile (on my CD)
3 Views of a Secret (on my CD)
    All The Things You Are

    and more..
my book. The Chordal Approach is a good primer into the development of these kind of arrangements
