ARRRGHHH!!! Yellow turned to green!!!

    Sorry if similar thread exist, I will do search,but meanwhile I'm desperate... I am after Paul Jackson "Geraldine" telebass,modified, and I found luthier to build it for me. here's example of Paul's bass:


    my specs were swamp ash,maple neck etc, and all those are OK - except I got colour issue. After colouring, and all the finishes ( nitro-polyurethane,thickening mass etc etc. ) the colour has this greenish tone which I don't want!


    my luthier says it will gets darker within the age and I will get desired colour, but I dont think that green will disappear - my fear is it can only get worse.

    What to do?

    I am thinking to tell him to strip all the finish and colour and leave natural ash with nitro finish.
    HELP!!!! Thanx!
