    I had a major stroke in 2008. The drive to be able to play drums again was a major motivation and the work that I put in behind the kit definitely aided in my recovery.

    Since then I have gotten serious about hand percussion and bass. I feel that learning additional instruments has also helped me a lot in my recovery.
