Artisan B4FL Fretless

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Paolo, Mar 30, 2002.

  1. I've played fretted bass for 10 years. Now I'd buy a fretless bass.
What do you think about the Artisan B4FL Fretless with :
    Swamp ash body
    Wenge neck
    Bartolini MK1 pickups & MK1 EQ

    It's a good fretless ?

    Thank

  2. the fretted version is a good quality bass, never tried the fretless though

i guess they stopped making the 5 string fretless, or else i'd have one.

although...it wouldn't be that hard to defret...

anyways, they're very nice basses. i mean...bart electronics, ash body, and wenge neck for the price?!

IMHO, the best value in fretlesses under $500. Only the MTD Kingston fretless comes close.
