    Hope this is the right forum, please move it if it is not;

    Messed about on photoshop using some of the advice I found on bunnybass about photographing basses. Came out with this little pic:

    This was taken before the new modified Pickup surround fitted to my 88 Vigier fretted bass:

    Nice collection of fiddles, but that car must go!
  7. Leave the car in, it's totaly funny that any one of you basses is worth more than it. Shows were your priorities are. ;)

    Thanks for the comments everyone. I dont have ALL those any more, but still consider them to be part of the collection. Think the Volvo demands more respect however!! I like having a car I can leave unlocked, drive into other vehicles and make manouvers without due forethought!

    Hi mate.. I will find you the link to the site I refered to . It was very useful. Basically once you have the pic of the bass then you can use photoshop to select the edges and black out the background. It is then a case of selecting the edges of the instrument and blurring them slightly to make it blend in smoothly with the background.

    Good luck!

    Sorry for insulting your Volvo. Didn't recognize the model. Volvo's are well respected rides, in as much as those fine basses.

    Lol dont worry man I know what you mean, trust me. It is nat a bad car though for sub £1000, and is a turbo diesel which is nice to drive. What is a bit nasty is that I had to sell a Marleaux bass to buy the car! ah well. What goes around comes around!

    Thanks guys. Here is a bigger Pre-photoshop pic of the Bossa:

    It is now for sale at the bass gallery, London, for around £700. Someone put a J-retro in her and changed the flamed maple control cavity cover for a metal one which spoils it in my opinion :-(
