    As new, with original box and papers;
    QSC/PLX 1602 power amp, small amp, lightweight, big power:
    300/500/800 watts per side at 8/4/2 ohms...that's right, two ohms per side.
    1600 watts bridged into 4 ohms.

    $375 shipped.

  3. Hey Chef:

    Wow, I own one of these and I forgot that you can get two ohms a side.

    When I looked at the manual, it says "Both sides driven". Does that mean you could NOT run one-side-only into a 2 ohm cab (or two 4s)? Just wondering about that. I always thought you could use one side of this amp if you had to, but never considered that it might be 2 ohms.
     
  4. Got one too. You can run both or just one side at 2 ohms, or one at 2 ohms, or one at 8 and one at 2.... whatever, it doesn't matter.

    exactly. you can run one side, both side...different loads on each side even.

    I've even used one side to power bass and one for pa...

    regarding the pearson rack:
    It's sturdy; they are well reviewed units here.
    It's the "shallow model," and is 12" deep, and they don't come with covers.
