Has anyone tried the ashdown 15's? I am looking at the ABM 115-300. It can handel 300 watts with SPL of 94dB 1W@1m. And its only 44lbs. Anyone tried this? See, I am looking for a lighter 15 thats louds and thats cheaper that the Epifani's and Bergantino's out there. Thanks.

Haven't tried that one, but I just bought an EB 15, the little one that puts out 130 watts. I'm absolutely amazed by it. Very loud, very compact, readily portable and great sound. I can only imagine that the 300 watt combo you speak of will be just like it, but louder, a wee bit heavier and with a few more features!

    Fatrhino,

I was lucky enough to try a few Ashdown combos these last days.

    So let's say it :

ASHDOWN ABM COMBOS ARE KILLERS !

My choice is an ABM-C115-500. It's a mountain of bottom-end in a light-weight amp, at what I think is a very reasonable price (approx. EUR 1800 here).

    All the best,
