    This head is in great shape, rehoused in a hand built 3/4” Baltic birch plywood head shell with 3 fresh coats of Duratex. The previous owner ditched the original chrome nameplate, hence the minimalist/brutalist white on black aesthetic. Great, straightforward control layout, perfect for some straight up rock, blues, metal or anything else loud you want to pump into it. 275, will split cost of shipping.     This Über-cool head combines the warmth and grind of the 427 Small Block’s all-tube preamp with the dynamics of Ashdown’s tour-proven 500-Watt ABM power stage.

    The 550 Spyder head features High and Low gain inputs, front panel-mounted Effects Send and Return, rotary Bass, Middle and Treble controls with Mid Shift, Bass Shift and Bright switching, Mute switch, rotary Gain and Master volume controls and balanced DI output with Pre/Post switching.
