This weekend I saw an Ashdown ABM-410H cabinet for sale at my local dealer. It's a demo model and I'll get a 30% discount.
I didn't have time to test it yet, but I probably will try it next weekend.
Actually, I wanted to buy an Eden D-410XLT (I'm saving for it), but it's a lot more expensive - no discounts :(
So should I go for Ashdown (assuming that is 100% OK - it's a demo model) or should I wait a little and pay 500$ more for the Eden?
I live in Europe and Eden is expensive here (D-410XL costs +/- 1200$).
BTW, what is your opinion on Ashdown cabs?

Both are very different animals. Eden cabinets are much more modern sounding, but still retaining warmth and cut. Ashdowns, however are like vintage cabs, creamy and fat. I like both, and it really depends on what your doing. If your doing a rock or something that requires something that can cut through yet retain warmth, go with the Eden. If you're playing motown or trying to emulate a Upright, go Ashdown.
