hi - as i'm looking for a new amp i've come accross the Ashdown C210T - 500 EVO II Combo. At 575W for around US$ 1000 I wonder how good this thing really is.

    Has anyone used this amp?
    How good is it?
Is it comparable to anything else out there?

    Thank you all!

Actually, by its own the combo only puts out 373 watts. You need an 8 ohm extension cab to get its full power. Keep in mind that Ashdown watts are LOUD watts. You'll be able to handle most gigs well enough with just this combo. The tone can best be described as warm and punchy, but the EQ is powerful and fairly flexible and you are also able to dial in as much tube-ness to the preamp as you want.

If you dig the tone, I say hit it! :)
