Has anyone tried these? How do they sound? I'm looking for a loud warm amp. I'm a fingerstyle player. Would it be a good match for my Bergantino 3-10?
  2. I've got the ABM300 and ABM900, both older models, so neither is EVO series. But I love their tone--gigantic and warm. Oh yeah! I'm using them through Ashdown cabs.

That's it will be a killer combination! Congrats!
  4. That sounds to be an awesome combination.
I've got an ABM 500 EVO with an Epifani 2x12.
    It's simply huge!

For smaller gigs I'm going to use an Aguilar 1x12
    with the same head.

    You'll love it!

I have an Ashdown ABM 400 with a Bergantino 3x10. It is a great combination. I have had the head for three years and it has lots of warm low end. I bought it when I played a jazz bass - looking for added lower end. Now that I play an MTD 535 I may switch because I would like a more focused sound (thinking about the Aguilar 750). My Ashdown has a bumped up transformer giving it the same power specs as the 500. It is a loud and clean sounding rig. The Berg is at 4 ohms so it really brings out the best of the Ashdown. The sub octave is great too. If you have any more questions feel free to e-mail me.
