I own an Ashdown ABM c110-300EVO combo. I'm very, very pleased with this amp, at least I had been until it started blowing fuses at the last gig, but I need more headroom at some of the venues we play at. Will an extensionb cab help?

I read about someone using an Aguilar 112 with his ABM 110. The output impedance of my combo is 4 ohms. Can I run an Aguilar GS 112 cab, which is 8 ohms, in combination with the 1 X 10" in my ABM? Or do I need to buy a 4 ohm cabinet to match the ABM?

I've heard great things about the GS112, but does anyone have any other suggestions for alternative extension cabs?

Would really appreciate some feed back!!!

You can only connect an 8 ohm speaker to that combo as the internal speaker is 8 ohm.

I would go for an Ashdown 210 or the mini 15.
    Haven´t tried the Aguilar.

And adding a cab will increase your headroom. It will bring the amp to deliver its full 300W. Now it´s giving about 200W to the internal speaker.
