  1. I have been wanting one of these for a while now and when i finally have the scratch, they disappear. The ashdown website doesnt say they are discontinued but nobody seems to be carrying them. anyone know anything?

The new EVOIII's are replacing the old EVOII's, also they have a new US distributor. Some guys on here have the new EVOIII's.

  3. still having trouble finding an evoIII. seems like no one carries the abm heads.

I've got one I no longer use since I bought my bass buster. I even have the 2 button footswitch for it. It's great but I don't need 3 amps when I don't even play in a band.

Theres still alot of Evo "'s floating arounf though, Your mainly paying for the onboard compression on the new one, it seems the main difference.

The Ashdown compressor pedal was absolutely the worst Ive ever used. I hope they've improved the circuit for these new heads, as the ABM preamp is one of the sweetest sounds in bassdom IMHO....
