Ashdown footswitch and headphones question

Hi, I wondered if anyone could give me a little bit of advice? I have just purchased a used Ashdown Rootmaster Mag 420 210 combo, which comes with a 115 cab. I am picking it up tomorrow.

I’ve looked at the pictures of the amp and see that there isn’t a headphone jack? What would be the best solution so that I can practice quietly at home?

There is a DI out and Speaker out jack on the rear of the unit. Could I run a DI box out and plug the headphones into that?

My second question is about the FS2 footswitch. Do I have to purchase the official Ashdown pedal or can I use a Boss FS6, which I already own? The Boss pedal can be used as momentary or latched.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Dave! Maybe Art has something inexpensive to convert the XLR out to something you can use with headphones?

I’m in the U.K., we don’t have Sweetwater over here unfortunately.

Here’s a pic of the back of the combo.

I also have this DI box
