Selling my Ashdown Little Bastard LB30. Do a search on these and see what the craze is about. VERY loud for only 30 Watts into either 4 or 8 ohms. Amp is good shape and has Tungsol EL84’s installed. The chicken feet knobs in the picture are not included in the sale and the stock knobs will be re-installed at time of sale. The amp still has about 2yrs left on a transferrable warranty from Guitar Center. Asking price is shipped to the Lower 48. Thanks

Ridiculously cool amp. I have a Mesa Walkabout Scout 15" stack and an SVT with a 610 cab. I'm still never getting rid of my LB30. Sound guys LOVE the line out from this thing.

I own one, someone will be really happy with this.

Great amp with cool extras. I own a Super Bassman also and I still refuse to part with the Little Bastard.

  4. I own the CTM-30 which is what they re-named this amp. I also vouch for the coolness and the line out DI. It’s loud. Don’t let 30W fool you.

Same (only mine is an SVT-CL). I'm keeping the LB.

  6. Little Bastard that I have has always kept up with my Stooges style band I was in, battling against two loud guitarists. Very loud and easy to maintain. A great amp. Good luck.

Can this handle a 5 piece band with a power hitter drummer and a loud guitar in medium to large rooms without FOH?
    Thanks

Probably depends on what bass cabinet you are using. These are a LOUD 30Watts, but it is still only 30Watts

I used two, each powering an efficient cab, and it was adequate for a medium room.

I have run mine with an Epifani UL410 and an Ampeg 610. In both cases, very much yes. It was plenty. The Epifani gets a little deeper with the LB30, but the 610 will crack a rib with it if you aren't careful.

I own one too and it's my living room/small gig amp. Superb tube tone, highly recommended.
