Ashdown MAG 600 Vs. Hartke 5500

    Hey, i was just wondering what you guys would pick.

    I wonder if the hartke logo area comes off and if you could put a one rack space item there like a tuner or sonic max. The ashdown i think would have better tone, Isnt the hartke just in a faux vintage amp box? It LOOKS like it would have tubes, but it doesnt. Is this another Ampeg 350H and B2r where one is rack mout but they make another model to make it look tube? Does hartke sell the 5500 with out that heavey box?

    Yes hartke has the 5500 in a regular 2u.

    But personally I would go with the ashdown, just because of hartke's past history of solder joints coming off.

    **EDIT**

    I just looked at the hartke website, and I guess they don't have the 5500 in a 2u, oh well. I'd still stick with the ashdown.
