Yeah, but don't forget, the new BX6000T will have "DYNAMIZER" Technology... How do you compete with that? ;) :D

On a serious note... NAMM 2005 is only a day away and Behringer is bragging that they have 78 new "show stopping" products that will be introduced there. I wonder who's products provided the R&D for Uli's latest offerings?

Didn't ashdown have a 500w mag head out a couple of years ago. I'm sure they did I think it had a red face.

Anyway this is cool but I'm still holding out for a pedal pre.

But I'm gonna buy one of those mini ashdown stacks soon.

As far as I remember, that was actually a 400 W head, called MAG-400.

    Cheers,

Was the MAG400 reasonably similar to the old MAG250 UK made stuff in terms of sound? There's a used one at the same price as the MAG-300R in a shop around here. Trying to work out which to get.

Yes, all these MAG heads are basically the same amps, just with different wattages and some cosmetic details.
The latest ones are now built in China (as my MAG-300R), but I can say the quality has not been neglected.
Between both I believe I'd take the 400, just because my 300-R isn't quite loud enough (and yes, I have my eyes on the 600 now).

    Cheers,
    JL

I hope there is going to be a Mag 600H. I'd rather have mine in a case. Anybody heard any price info??

Sorry if I'm a bit late for replying...
Do you want me to change into "BADABAAH" if that may ease your fear ?
    :D

    Cheers,

Not for the moment, but surely emailing Mark Gooday would bring us quick and accurate information on that point.
Well, my 300-R is in a rack case and it is perfectly protected (except probably if a train rolled on it, I presume...)

    Cheers,
    JL
