Ashdown MAG setup query

  2. Both types of cables are used to connect heads to cabinets. Many people prefer the first kind (Speakon). Do a search here for discussion on this.

    However, you need to find out what kind to speaker outputs your head has on the back - Speakon (with would fit the first cable) or 1/4" (which would fit the second).. or both.

    "... has two 1/4" outputs .."

    This means you are restricted to using the second cable.

    Someone who actually owns/has ever seen the Mag 300H might be able to confirm this...

    Yeah, the Ashdown Mag300H only has two 1/4" speaker outputs. So the speaker cable needs to at least have one side with a male 1/4".
