  2. Because Photobucket has chosen to in effect "take down" everyone's photos (unless you pay them), we have extended post edit time in the Luthier's Corner to UNLIMITED.  If you used photobucket and happen to still have your images of builds, you can go back and fix as many of your posts as far back as you wish.

Note that TalkBass will host unlimited attachments for you, all the time, for free ;)  Just hit that "Upload a File" button.  You are also free to use our Media Gallery if you want a place to create albums, organize photos, etc :)

I'm currently deciding on putting a bridge cover on a P/J to go for that vintage vibe. The fender P-bass cover looks good, but I don't think it will cover or fit over the Jazz pickup, and the Jazz covers all have that "F" on them, and might not fit a P-bass body. Does anyone know if the J cover will fit a P body, or if the pbass ashtray will fit over, or cover the Jazz pickup? Maybe even where they sell jazz ashtrays without that "F" on it?

  2. No, the P cover is less than 1/2 the length of the J cover.

They DO make the covers without insignia's but I don't know where I've seen them - Try www.allparts.com or www.basspartsresource.com
