    Luckily, she said yes.

If it looks like I'm four sheets to the wind... it's cause I am. I was celebrating, and this picture was taken later in the evening.

Myself and Jen earlier in the night, there I was not drunk, just laughing.

That's the rooftop of my friends apartment. I proposed at about 11:15 PM, when the skyline was all lit up and looking beautiful. I was hoping to be able to see the fireworks at Navy Pier from our rooftop, but it was cloudy and there were some buildings in the way. It was still awesome, though!

I'm pretty excited. I've been planning this since October. One of my best friends is a professional jeweler and made the ring for me, which is pretty awesome. Three diamonds, white gold band. She's pretty happy about, which makes me happy.

    Good times! :D :D :D

I only sighed once when I picked up the ring and truly thought about the Sadowsky or Lull bass I was about to put on my girlfriend's finger... I'd say it's worth it, though. :)

    You lucky dog, you.

You do realize that you don't deserve her, right? :D As soon as you do, you'll be primed for a long and happy marriage.

Best of luck. My wife and I are in our 24th year of wedded bliss - and I realized long ago that I don't deserve her.

In an admiring sense: Your bride to be is HAWT. Good taste and catch.

You don't look like a duck.

Congrats man! You won't regret it! (not right away anyway) :)

Good choice on the ring too. It looks exactly like the one I got my wife. How many carats is it total?

  15. So is all of TB invited to the wedding? Free expensive wine and the likes?

    :p

Congrats and good luck with your marraige.
