Aslin/Dane?

The other day I was peeping in the window of a record exchange and saw what I thought was a Musicman Stingray. I went back when they were open to check it out and it turns out it is actually an Aslin Dane AMB-200 (Musican knockoff). I was wondering, does anyone have any experience with these basses? I did some searching on the Internet and came up with their website, along with a few more sites that just sell these basses.

PS...The bass felt good, but I didn't get to give it a good beating, as there were no amps in the store. It had a maple neck, a Superphenol fretboard and the familiar Musicman three-on-top-one-on-the-bottom tuning machine layout (not like the one pictured on their site). I didn't care for the color though -- it looked to be of the "antique natural sunburst" variety.
