    What is this exactly?

Bass looks killer but I'm a bit concerned about this feature. Can anyone explain this concept to me?

  2. The thickest part of the neck is not in the middle. It is offset. My Rick Turner Electroline has an asymmetrical neck profile and it is a joy to play. The Ibanez BTB series also has an asymmetrical neck profile. I find the Roscoe Beck necks a little wide, but they are great guitars. I think they are, by far, the best 5 string that Fender makes. The electronics are very flexible with lots of tones available. I would be happy to own one...Candy Apple Red with a White Pearloid pickguard, please.

My carvin Bunny Brunnel has an asymetrical neck. Even though it's a wide five (string spacing same as a 4), it's still one of the most comfy 5 string necks I've tried.
