    i need advice from some veteran bass players. i'm in the market for a new bass. a new ric 4003 jg could take 8 months or longer to get, i use to own one and remember how they play and sound. but i'm also conidering the new fender american jass or the warwick corvet standard and have conciderd carvin. all are passive which i like. problem is i'm no where near a dealer that i can try one out. thanks for any help.

    Well um...You didn't ask a question. So i'm just going to assume you want to know about the basses.

    I'd say the Fender personally. They're nice reliable instruments, they can stand up to the Fender name, and Jazz basses are handy! They always have a good tone when you need it.
