I'm forced to sell my Atelier Z 5 string jazz bass.
I was going to sell her to pay for an upright, but i've had an accident & need to pay for medical care.

She's a great axe & has only been played for about 9 months during my stint on a Broadway tour.
Not much wear & tear at all.
    Warm yet punchy.
She has some weight @ 9 lbs, but is not uncomfortable and is extremely well balanced.

If you know about these basses, you know how rare it is to find one in the states. This one was custom made for me, plays & sounds great and under other circumstances would be a keeper.

    DAL is the model name.

    Trans Red w Matching Headstock
Alder body with an Ash Top
Rosewood Fingerboard with Blocks & Binding
    Atelier Z single coil pickups
    Aguilar OBP1 pre-amp
    Dunlop Strap Buttons
Hipshot B style bridge (brass/chrome plated)
    18mm bridge spacing
    34 inch scale
    9 lbs
    Atelier Z Gig Bag

    Atelier Z website: http://www.atelierz.co.jp/english/product/index.html

Sells new for 252,500 yen = $3228 dollars
    I'm asking $2,100.00 plus shipping

Modifications that I have had done by Mas Hino, formerly of Atelier Z:
Atelier Z bridge swapped for a hipshot, as i prefer quick release. (i do not have the stock bridge).
The controls are now: Master Volume (both pickups always on), Passive Tone, Bass, Treble. The volume knob is push/pull for active/passive option.
It's a quick fix to return the controls to Vol, Vol, Treble, Bass.
