Does anyone know of a good doublebass teacher in the Atlanta area? I've played Electric for about 15-16 years, and I've owned an upright for about 2 years. I've played it on a couple of tunes at gigs, and messed with it at home, but have never really given it the investment of time that it deserves. It's time for that to change. I've got pretty good facility on the electric, but I hold little hope that it translates much to "the dark side." Anyone? I'm going to check Bob Golihur's site, but any personal recommendations would be helpful.
