    hey folks

vote for all the dates that you are able to attend an atlanta get together - remember, this is a multiple select poll, so you can vote for more than one choice.

I'm good for the first weekend, but not the second.

And, I do have a bunch of new toys (not that I'm trying to influence voting...).:D

Any of those dates is OK with me.

  9. I prefer Saturdays to Sundays, but any of those dates will work for me.

  10. I'm good for any of those days.

  11. Either Saturday for me. Are there any specifics on location yet?

Later is better for me, but I'll do what I can to make any of 'em - I need a "break" from Orlando, so I'll be there if there is any possible way for me to do so.

Hope to see you guys (and gals) soon!

It looks like March 8 got the most votes, which I guess means my house. That's cool. If we do it that day anybody who's interested can head over to JT's show afterwards. I only live about 15-20 minutes from the Somber Reptile.

john, is your band lord only?

if so did you guys play smiths tonight? i wanted to go but i didnt want to go out on a maybe, especially when im broke as a joke.

if im right about you i saw you play a while back and was totally impressed.

i'd really like to get to know some other bassist here, but its a little difficult on my working 3rd shift schedule.

edit: i should have read your profile first, heh. i emailed the other day and brian said you've gone to hyperbass and i really want to hear your new sound.

:D hey, so that was you. how's it going?

we're not playing smith's tonight, although brian may play by himself. one of our songs he sings lead on and he'll probably be performing it by himself, or maybe with his girlfriend playing oboe (she's a professional, eh?) ;)

there's a link in my sig to one of our songs, a 12 minute instrumental.

i just listened to it, wow. if you don't mind can i link it on another board in the recommendations topic?

atlanta still produces some of the best musicians around. i havent been able to keep in the scene as much as i used to but it seems to still be strong.

im gonna try to get to the somber, its on a saturday so i doubt i can make it. such a great venue. one of the last good venues here really.

cool - the extreem is pretty cool, too. sorta has the old "wreck room" vibe happening. it used to be a haunted house, so it's got all kinds of wacky props and all in there.

as for linking, that's great. here's a link to another song, this one with vocals (and a bit shorter ;) )...

...alright, steering things back "on topic"...

Is this thing "set in stone" yet, and if so, exactly what is the deal???

I need to know ASAP, so I can arrange my work schedule to get there...

    Lemme know!!!

I'm in the same boat as Gard on this one...and since I don't have a car right now, I might need to be making some plans.
