I recently posted a list of amps that were being considered for a purchase. They were all combo amps...SWR, Ampeg and Ashdown (EB15-150). The post asked players to weigh-in on the best choice of the group (I know, I know, it's only opinions, but that's what I'm asking for). The overwhelming majority voted for Ampeg. Only one player voted for Ashdown. I would like to ask the Ashdown combo owners out there to give me their opinion (there I go again) on what they like and don't like about their combo amp. The few Ashdown owners who have said anything, have said very favorably. Would like to hear both sides...good and bad. thanks.

Hi, i don't own an Ashdown, but I've played a lot of them.
The only reason why I don't own one is money.
For me Ashdown is tubesound from a hybrid amp. Add the extra sub to it and you are in bass heaven. Power and headroom to spare, very versatile...
