Thought I would post this here in case any of you guys happen to use photobucket.com. They have changed their TOS, and basically are saying that they have full access to any content you host on their site. Some of you may not care, others might.

    From second paragraph...

"In order for Photobucket.com to permit you to use the Services, you grant to
    Photobucket.com a perpetual, universal, non-exclusive, royalty-free,
transferable, license to use, copy, distribute, modify, print, display and
otherwise exploit in any manner any User Content and to enable third parties to
use the Services to do the same."

  2. Does anybody know of another free hosting site that does not do this?

  4. That doesn't really bother me. It's pretty unlikely that they will suddenly begin selling their users' stuff. Think of the customer backlash! It's just basic CYA stuff. Of course, it looks like anyone else can use your stuff too, but who puts something they want to sell online in the first place? Except Cory Doctorow, who is just that cool.

So just don't put anything personal or profitable by others on photobucket.

Eh. I use PB, but all I have are pictures of my basses and some action photos of my Cthulhu puppet. They're more than welcome to them. :D

fotki.com is free, and also a paid option.
    flickr.com is good too.

  10. Flickr has pretty stiff bandwidth limits for free users. Be advised.

Anyone tried Fotango? They modify all of your images with a "fotango.com" tag at the top or bottom. Their website is kinda unclear about bandwidth limits.
