I'd love to answer that, but my teeth seem to be embedded in my tongue.

    hey, dude
could ya wanna play slipknot anyway. they suck. seriously man they use too much distortion and they only know like 2 notes. same as mudvayne, they suck badly but theyre bassist is at least half decent. if mudvaynes bassist mabey looked normal and played normal good music he probably could be a great solo bassist.

    Enter HASBRO TABEVIL:

First, honorable mention to www.tabcrawler.com. STRING OF DURRLS was most eloquent in his rebuttal to SMASHMOUTH'S, well, whatever the hell you want to call his post.

So, for some stupid reason, I looked at the tab that was listed by THE-PISSING-KING. Way to be helpful, it looked very clear to me. The only thing is, damn if reading numbers is so hard for me. I guess it's like standard notation. Everyone thinks that reading the black dots is difficult, but then you do it, and you realize, like everything in life, (except for convincing the little lady to let you watch football), it's not that hard. Well, maybe tab is like that. Right now, all those numbers look incoherent to me. No rhythm, no meter, no dynamics, and just...well...numbers! For some reason, a little black dot has value in my musical, or lack of musical, mind, but these numbers. I mean, they're just numbers. Weird.

So this song, has, what?, 10 notes?! Not bad. This is an excellent song to begin ear training with. I know TURTLEWAX has started some other threads about ear training, and learning songs, so it looks like an ongoing process. I'm sure you know KIRBYSUX (that one works on so many different levels!), that requests for tabs will be met with some indifference around here. This is a great song to begin the ear training process, should you choose. Now that you have the song, maybe you can even try working backwards, like listening over and over to the record, and trying to hear how the song was tabbed. Or, hell, just simply trying to hear the notes.

    Exit HASBRO TABEVIL:
