  1. all Peavey Firebass Owners!

I have just brought a new Peavey Firebass 700 and I practised with it today, but found it wasn't as loud as I would have liked, but thats maybe coz Im runnin the 4ohm load instead of two. Could you please give me some useful settings that are loud but don't clip the amp!

FIRST: If you PRACTICE so loud that 700watts isn't loud enough you should be wearing ear plugs or you're going to go deaf.

Try boosting the mids. Don't use a smiley.

I looked in your profile and it said your using home made cabs. That might be the problem. If they are built right they'd work fine, but if they messed up they might not be very loud.
