    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
That's actually a great amp. No fooling. Had one for years.

I have an old McDonald's Filet o' Fish sandwich that was partially eaten by Jaco. I'd offer to trade the guy for it, but I really think he's more interested in the money:meh:

That's a good amp, but even Hendrix's marshall won't fetch 50 grand IME.

I doubt he really "owned" that amp at that time...

Jaco used it in 1985? Hardly a golden period in his life...

Would you even get 50K for one of Jaco's Acoustic 360 rigs?

Unfortunately, Joe Zawinul ate the container.

Equally curious is that along with the $50,000 price tag is that the auction is offered by a BRAND NEW EBAY SELLER who has zero feedback. Things that make you go Hmmmm?

I'd bet he never owned it, or even removed it from the factory. What chance do you think there is that Jaco went "Oooh nice amp, I think I'll keep it in pristine condition and I'll put the mannual somwhere safe so that I don't lose it"

    Yeah right...

Please consider making a change for my old sock that Jaco used to wear the same way as Flea. I haven't washed it since then.

Here's the real question: Would you play a $50k amp?

No, but if I was really lucky I would play a bass plugged into a $50k amp
    [pedantmode=off]

Mixed feelings, it was made to be used and not looked at, but still its $50k...

I would consider myself lucky to be able to _afford_ a 50k amp.

However, I do own an instrument cable by AMP, even if it's not that good cable it's nice to know that it's "name brand" ;)

Off topic, but it takes a lot of balls for an amplifier company to name themselves AMP. Kinda takes up the whole market.

"What type of amp do you use?"

    "I use an amp."

    "But what brand?"

    "It's an amp."

hahaha  I feel dumb now.

On topic, what a waste of money, and a load of crap. I pity the f00 who made that auction. I will more pity the f00 who actually bids on it.

  19. I used to get **** like that...

"Do you have a favorite band?"

    "Yes"

    "Well, who is it?"

    "I said Yes"

    "NO?"

    "No, it's yes"
