Has anyone tried this? I'm getting intermittent noise from the active electronics, so I have to something and was thinking of adding the Audere preamp to the bass as a replacement. Dan K.
FWIW: you might want to trouble shoot the problem first, less you end up with a noisey Audere. See FAQ Dimento's Trouble Shooting Guide.
I am trying to edge away from the Bartolini sound. When the active pre-amp is bypassed, I do not get the noise. I will try to isolate the problem further but was wondering if anyone found a significant improvement in sound with the Audere. Thanks for the hint! Dan K.
