If audiophiles can't tell the difference between coathangers and cables, how do they hang their shirts up?

    in all fairness...

coat-hangers are very thick single core wire. I think partly what makes craptastical audio cables so craptastical is the cheap multicore they use... it frays and crackles and the like pretty easily.

There's a fortune to be made here.. Time to unwind some coathangers, register some patents, and make a snazzy brand name.. Who wants to buy stock?

what shirts? they have no money from spending their last pennies on power cables that were blessed by monks, and speaker isolators that have been matched more meticulously than the power compliment to a 1975 Ampeg Fliptop...

yes... I pulled those examples out of my hiney *L*

I don't know man- the Assault flavor is pretty good.
  13. I had a store credit, the store had crap for other merchandise in it, so I stocked up on Monster's for JUST this reason. :D

I have a 50 foot Monster vocal mic cable. FIFTY FEET. It's a $150 cable. We found it on a GC List Sale. Paid $40 for it. That puppy is like a coiled up GOLDMINE, I tell ya.

I'll buy Monster Cables when Princess Auto (surplus store) gets them in on occassion. They are generally pretty durable but grossly overpriced at electronics retailers. At the surplus store they're generally cheaper than even generic cables at an electronics store so they're a pretty good buy. I picked up a few Monster HDMI cables a few weeks back for about 15% of the retail price.
