  1. Melodyne or Autotune: which is better, and which version should I get?

I was leaning toward Melodyne, as I believe it is dongle free (but I am not positive), but I am not sure a dongle is that big of a deal. Mostly importantly, I don't know how the latest versions stack against each other, or which version of each I would need. I need the best pitch correction, and excellent time stretch is a nice to have.

    What do you say?

Depends on what you want need to to. They are different products and have different features and user interfaces.
If you need "DNA Direct Note Access" - you can only get that with Melodyne
If you just want pitch correction - then then is many choices.
They all have demo versions - so set aside some time and try the demo's then decide.
