Hi! I want to try a preamp pedal on a combo I have, but my combo doen't have a preamp input and I don't want to go through the combo's preamp.
My combo has a Aux in input, with the volume controlled by the Master knob. Can I use it in for that matter? Is it safe? If so, which output from the pedal should I use, jack output, line out or headphone out?
    Thank you!

Line out should work just fine.

Yes, your preamp out to the combo's aux input is the way to do it.

You mean the jack output, don't you? It's better this way so I can still use the line out at the same time if I'm in a gig with PA support.
    Big thank you to both!

Yes, the 1/4" jack output, leaving the XLR DI output to go to the PA.
