It was supposed to be available in late March. (Kind of late for that I guess) I really want to try one though and see how they compare to the vintage SVT's.

  7. i've heard alot of people saying there supposed to be around the same price as the normal SVT-CL but the SVT-CL lists (on muisc123 and MF) for $2250, but the SVT-VR lists for about $2800. So i'm not sure exactly but i think its going to wind up being a little more then the SVT-Cl.

thats really all i know, or kind of know.

That ought to send the price of a CL down the crapper.
I'd like to see how it effects the price of vintage SVT's.

  9. yea same. hopefully alot of store will drop the price like crazy when the VR comes out.

I didn't last Anaheim NAMM, but if I can be reminded, I'll make sure to check it out at this Summer's NAMM in Austin.

I talked to Ampeg this morning and they are expecting them to ship to the stores later this month (May) or early next.
