I had this Avatar B115 cab, the larger one, thats the same size cab as the 410 Neo cabs are, and as Avatar quit selling them I think because the early Neo 15's were such a real disapointment, plus 15's sales kinda went in the dumper for a while. So there is probably alot of guys out there that would like to upgrade their 115 cabs to the Neo driver. I decided to use the 3015 non-LF driver, because of cab size, and man is it sweet. The Avatar cab is approx 3.8 cu.ft., tuned to 40hz. According to the Eminence specs, it's only going to handle about 400 watts rms at that cab size, but that is plenty to really make it loud. The low end is way better than I expected, and the Avatar horn comes in about at 3500 hz, and so there is really not much of a hole there. It seems to be a pretty seamless jump between the driver and the horn soundwise. So anybody out there, with an Avatar 15 cab, thats too heavy, or needs a new or up-dated driver, buy one of these 3015's and put it in there, you won't regret it! They sound great!
