Avatar B212 - install 6 inch driver - opinions

    Hi folks,
    Just wondering if this is idea will work.
    Install a midrange 6 inch driver in the Avatar B212,
    So the cab will be:
    2x12 3012LF
    1x6
    1xTweeter
    A new crossover
    The 6" driver will be positioned on the bottom left hand side of the baffle.
    Will this position be problematic because it is not at ear level?
    I already have a B&C 6pev13 6" driver, will this work?

    Note that this idea would use the tweeter and the midrange drivers for a full range sound,

    Current: Blackstar, DR strings, Nady. Previous endorsements with: GK, Rotosound, Ernie Ball, Cleartone, EMG, Dean, Dava Picks, Rebel Straps, Dickies
    I don't think it's a matter of it not working because it's not at "ear level". No matter where you'd place it, there's only so much surface area on the baffle, so the dispersion of sound will always overlap. I think it's a crap shoot at best if it'd work. What are you hoping to achieve that EQ and the cab as it sits can't accomplish?

    Typically it's safer to purchase a proven design, than to potentially ruin one.
