Some say this is the finest 'production' (non CS) bass Fender ever made. That's a pretty tall order, but I am not sure I disagree. This is the best bass I have ever owned or played. The unique characteristics of this bass are numerous and I will not list them here. Anybody GASing for this bass should/would know its specifications. Read up or, alternatively, ask me questions. The photos are probably poor, but I can take more. As you can see, this bass has some marks on it. Nothing too ugly. The finish flake missing on the back side is by far the most noticeable damage. These basses have a fairly thin coat of Nitro. Before long, most of these AVRI 63s will look like original, vintage basses. Why do I love this bass? Finest tone EVER. To me, these pickups are truly amazing and different sounding from all others. To me, that is. And.....some other people share my perspective. I also like the 7.25" radius fretboard. The necks on these are not Modern C. They are thicker. Non-slab board. Very small frets. Mr. Sklar and I like small frets. I love this neck, though it is not for everyone. A lighter-colored, sort of milk chocolate Rosewood board. OHSC with all case candy. 8lbs 9.7oz. The pictures were taken with LaBella Deep Talkin' Flats, but I put rounds on it since. It will ship with rounds, as it came from the factory, unless you specify. I have gently used Labellas and TIs, for example. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} Why am I selling? I have two. <grin> $1500 shipped CONUS.
Indeed. Sonic Blue is very nice. I just read the rules and discovered nothing can bump a classified ad here, except the OP can at intervals. Hm. It looks like wait time is one day. Unexpected. But it makes sense.
