So I'm at my weekly lesson getting educated and the such. My right hand has been hurting of late so I had been using a pick more often. I told my teacher and showed him what I had been doing. He wasn't looking at first and said" That sound came from a pick?" in a good way. He told me that he was used to people having such a clicky sound playing bass with a pick that he encourages using fingers(which we have for two years). I did what felt good and got a compliment from a very good player...a good day all around.:D:bassist::D

Cool, you're a natural pick player! Congratulations. I've been playing for 22 years and they still sound awful in my hands. Fingers all the way for me but I do love a well picked bass. :)

Not that I'm all that good at playing compared to most folks...but it's nice to figure something out sometimes.:bassist:
