Awesome New Album

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by chaoslord, Jan 13, 2004.

  1. I have no idea if anyone besides me on this board is a fan of their work but Iced Earth just released their new album "The Glorious Burden" today and it is amazing.

I was at my local Circuit City when it opened today and picked up the special edition which has a nicer case, extended booklet, and three bonus tracks.

This is definatly one of the cooler albums I have picked up in quite awhile, and the new vocalist (Tim "Ripper" Owens, ex-Judas Priest) does not dissapoint in the slightest, and I was a HUGE Matt Barlow fan.

Alright enough out of me, anyone else pick this up and if so what did you think?

Iced Earth in general does not dissappoint.
I have about 5 or 6 of their recordings.
I really like "Something Wicked This Way Comes"
"Horror Show" is pretty good too, so is thier older stuff like "Desert Rain".

I didn't know they were this close to releasing the new album, WooHoo!
