    I walked into my local music store today, and what should I see but a used Lakland Skyline Joe Osborn.

    For $500CAN.

    I put what money I had on a downpayment, and it's on layaway.

    I'm so happy!

    Dave at Club Bass basically runs the market on these (and I love him!) but you scored.

    Great score , may I ask where did you get it? Is it Steves Music ? a few months ago I off loaded my JO4 3 tone burst for only one reason it was too heavy for me, I picked up a Fender American Deluxe 4 much lighter but I still have dreams about that JO. Enjoy.

    I can't get pics anytime soon, but it was at Steve's Music, and it is a 3-tone sunburst, w/ mint green pickguard. Myself personally i might change the pickguard to brown tort.

    that's nearly 250 of our british pounds, not a bad deal. if i wanted a new one over here it would be around a grand (2000 CAD!)

    Just a question iskbee, but is there any hardware problems with your bass? Because it was pretty cheap.

    None.. mint condition almost brand new, I probably giged it once at my church. Like I said it was a bit too heavy for me but it sounds awesome, real sweet through my sadowsky pre-amp. The store gave me 50% of retail and retail was $1059CDN then so you got a good deal. Enjoy playing her.. Cheers.
