One of my friends has a BC Rich Platinum series Warlock he's thinking about selling. It actually looks decent, (blue burst finish with some wood grain showing through) and plays really nice. Sound is average, but better than my current 4-stringer. Unlike the Warlocks on the Rich site, though, this one has one P-style pup and one J.

Anyway, are any Richs worth owning (for around $350) or will they cause me more trouble than they're worth?

Side note: I think Warlocks look terrible and cost too much in general, but this bass was SO easy to play on, and even sat comfortably in my lap.

So...Rich Platinum series: Good or bad?

    Thanks in advance,

I had one many moons ago (1980's) and I loved it. The important thing is: do you like it? If so, then get it. They are truly good instruments. No longer my taste, but they are good.
