fliptops.net makes both a 70s style b15n cabinet, and the larger b15s cabinet. the differences between the two are as follows: the b15n cabinet is 21 inches, by 24, inches, by 14 inches. it is a sealed (i believe?) cabinet. the speaker it uses is an eminence legend 4 ohm 15”.
the b15s cabinet is 23.8 inches, by 26 inches, by 15(or was it 16?) inches. it is a front ported cabinet, with a rectangular port below the speaker. it uses a commonwealth 4 ohm 15” speaker. what are the sonic differences between these two designs??? the b15s is larger, ported, and has a different speaker. though nobody can likely attest to anything about the specific speaker, what does the larger size and port do to the sound of the cabinet?
