Up for trade, handmade in Japan series Bacchus by Headway Guitars bass. I believe it’s an 02’ model, as well as a discontinued model. Not sure if it’s a Venus, or standard. BODY: Ash FRETBOARD: Ebony SCALE: 34” scale possibly 35” NECK: Maple PICKUPS:Fender noiseless pickups ELECTRONICS: 9v John East retro 3 band preamp PICKGUARD: Aftermarket white pearloid FULL BODY AND NECK BINDING Originally, the bass had the Bacchus two piece bridge system. The bridge has since been replaced by a previous owner with what appears to be possibly a Schaller. The current bridge offers adjustable string spacing, which is an added bonus! Unfortunately whoever installed the bridge, cosmetically did not do the prettiest job. However it is purely cosmetic and works as it should with no issues. Bass does show signs of wear, (shown in pics). Plays like a dream! Lots of woody growl, full lows, amazing mids, and wonderful highs! The John East preamp make this bass an extremely versatile beast! Perfect for any style of music! Interested in other basses 4, 5, and 6 string. Other possibly trade interest would be a dark glass alpha omega bass pedal+small bass combo or bass head. Will also entertain other basses of less value+cash, or + dark glass alpha omega pedal.
