    This is one of the better jazz style basses I have ever owned. Beautiful craftsmanship, great feel and tone. I upgraded the electronics from the stock Bartolini pre to the Sadowsky onboard pre. original pickups sound great, so I never changed them out.
    Original preamp was sold off.
    A couple of blemishes and some of the oil finish worn off as seen in pics.

    Nice bass. Are the pickups single coil or hum canceling?

    They are stock single coil.

    If you still have the bass, how much single-coil hum? Is it well shielded?
