Just a feeler. Very happy with this bass. Best playing jazz style bass I've owned. I've had more than a few. Just find myself leaning more towards Other pickup configurations.

This is a newer Bacchus DX5 Woodline. Handmade in Japan. Same place that makes STR basses which are overall the best playing bass I've ever owned. Bass is in excellent shape. a couple of rub marks in the oil finish. The only major ding against it being perfect is the electronics cavity was routed out a bit to fit the 3 band preamp. Only visible if you look under the cover and hard to see because of the shielding job.

Bass balances perfectly, is capable of stupid low action and is everything a jazz bass should be. The nordstrand pickup are single coil but very quiet compared to other single coils I've used. Bass also sits great in a mix.

The tuners are currently Gotoh GB350 Resolites. I can include the original Gotoh GB11 tuners if you prefer I can install them. The Resolite are smoother and knocked about 8 oz. off the weight. The control knobs are smaller I have the original Sadowsky style knobs but the are a little tight with 5 knobs.

    Specs:
    -Ash Body
    -Maple/Ebony Neck Bound and blocked
    -Nordstrand Big J Blade Pickups
-Nordstrand 3 band Pre (push/pull mids) Active passive switch
    -Gotoh Res-O-Lite tuners
    -34" Scale
    -18mm string spacing at Bridge
    -Current weight 8lbs. 12oz.
    -Includes original Bacchus Gig bag

Trades? 5 string, 18mm string spacing or narrower, Less than 9 lbs weight. I'd love a P bass

    Or $1100 OBO

Like I said this is just a feeler. I really like this bass but... you know... Talkbass...

Me too. My Gibson isn't moving so I'm going to need to sell this. :(

    Quickly became my main player.

Thinking the same thing but might try something funky.
