    .. and i love it!! thanks to Tommy Rosamond and all the guys at USA Custom Guitars- i still await my birdseye neck and board with white block inlays.. got Dimarzios Ultra Jazz for it- awaiting the J retro ( Dude!!)
    never put a bass together , so i will enlist help for the local repairman.. but im pretty psyched about this bass..

    same place- USA Custom Guitars- but it got sent out for the inlays- so it takes a little longer-

    just received the j retro deluxe- heres a progress pic with the Dimarzios and the j retro- i like!!!!
    if my block inlays on the neck ever get done!!:rolleyes:
    not USACG 's fault- the inlay guy is taking his sweet time... the hipshot bridge and tuners will arrive shortly- looking forward to this!!

    Adrian, that is hot. Those are great pickups and the J Retro is amazing. My only bass at the moment sports a J Retro. I just love that pre.

    thanks! if this works out- i will be putting a few of these together for sale at the shop- i will price them very attractively for those looking for this type of bass but cant quite afford a ( place famous names here) !!

    How much are we talking here Adrian? Give me a PM or something...I would LOVE to get something like that with a black pickguard and perhaps black dot inlays. That would be awesome...at some point anyway, Gotta build up funds again after just recieving my Emperor (which is incredible!!) :D
