Backing Tracks

  1. Hi,

    Does anyone know of a website that has backing tracks minus bass to practice along to? Free of course!!

  3. I use guitar pro files and mute the bass parts. (using TuxGuitar to play them with. completely free cross-platform program which can load and save guitar pro files)

    You can also use Band in a Box to generate a track by inputting the chords and selecting the style. It's possible to set the volume of the bassline right down to zero and export the "song" as a midi file and also print out the bass part with staff and tab on the same sheet.
